The way that the teams were chosen were in a way that can't go wrong. Your group was made out of the people that have the same characteristics as you do. Our characteristics were written down on a card and handed out randomly so people can see who has the most similar characteristics to form a group with them. That way, there is a lot of communication and flow with groups selected

Throughout the school year, I may not have understood everything the teacher taught us, but there was always a clear message that I did understand, and that message was to value what you have and prioritize. What I mean by that is throwing out what you don't need and knowing what you need is realizing the value that you put into something

Building the park was and always will be one of the best experiences I've had. Even though this phase in the project seemed big, it was only the beginning. This phase consisted of so many little phases it gave us an idea of what it was like to actually work like a professional and it got the job done. What I realized after the last build day at the park and after the park was opened was that we actually were professionals. We were both engineers and architects and build workers and students.

Before our tiny house groups, we had our critical friends groups, and those were the people that would help you out if you were absent one day. Anyway, from our three critical friends that we had, we had to choose one that had to be our partner and with that partner, we had to make three banner designs to share with the class. and those designs had to be relevant to the name Sempiternal. Unfortunatley, my design wasn't chosen but the new one is really good.

Even though we prepared ahead of time for the interviews, it definitely didn't prepare me for the actual thing. We were still getting used to being professionals, and there was no time to get used to it!
The day of everyone went to school dressed up to their best. We were sort of ready because all we needed now were the artists. Interviewing Matt was such a unique experience because the scenario we were in was one of a kind. Professionals being interviewed by the students. The Padawan interviews the Jedi. I really feel privileged by the opportunities I am offered in this school. |

For our POL's, we had to present all of the things that are mentioned in this title. The last time I had a POL by myself, it didn't go that well, but having a group there with you made the burden a little lighter. But there was also the fact that your needed faith in your group and if something went wrong, then it wasn't just on the person that messed up, it was on the whole group. So I had mixed feelings about the POL. The way that I felt was that I could trust myself with everything and It would be less nerve- wracking, but doing it with your group, you realize that there are people that have your back if you don't know the answer to a question presented by the panel

Fundraising is obviously necessary in order to get all of the ridiculously expensive materials we needed to build the first tiny house. During the time that we were fundraising, the days we were working on it were crazy. People were making phone calls to small buisnesses and on of my classmates claims to have called Ferrari for a donation. Something that I could have done better during that phase would be volunteering more for the thank you videos we made.

A BUILDING COMPANY IS BORN |
Yes! We made it! We accomplished our goal of $18,000 but now what? The whole team worked as much as they could in two weeks in order to have the house finished by the exhibition at Space 4 Art. I have to say that I was surprised that there were some people that didn't enjoy going to build. They complained that it was to hot or that it was just boring. But doesn't the fun in building the house and the motivation in showing your work to people cancel out all the other things? I honestly had so much fun building with friends and cool staff and I hope the project is carried on.

Exhibition was so much work, but it was worth it. There was so much to do during and before the exhibition. Before the exhibition we had a ton of prep. There was a lifesize tiny house model that had to be put up so that people that walk in can experience what it's like to be in a tiny house. Then there were the consultation stations where we talked with people to find out what ideas we can make to create a tiny house that would best suit them. Then there were people who explained the process boards to the crowd and not to mention the Shark Tank Project, but overall it was a great experience during, before, and after.
