biology
This year for Biology I had a lot of expectation on what was going to be done in this class and how much we were going to learn. This year all of those expectations were met and more! I have never had a Biology class before this one and that was something that was really intimidating to me. I thought that I wasn't going to be able to learn anything and that things were going to come super hard to me. But that was incorrect, I have been able to learn so much and soak up lots of knowledge. This year I even learned that Biology is something that I am really interested in and possibly a career option for me.
This semester we were faced with lots of different things to challenge us as scientist, I think that something that was really pushed me as a scientist is when we were drawing our flowers. Drawing is something that I wish that I could be better at and is something that really takes time and patience that I don't have. I feel like with that assignment we had to show lots of details and that was something that I was really struggling with and didn't know where I could add more detail and make it look better without messing it up. I think thatches moment was important for me to realize that the way that we see things have to be able to be shown on paper and make sure that everyone knows that that is what we see so that we can get stronger observations.
I have evolved this semester by making connections between what I am learning in class to what I am learning in my honors book. This has really helped because Like Mrs Nuvia said we need to be able to make the connections between things. That is something That I have always thought would be harder for me but after this semester it has came a little easier and is something that I like to use a lot and show that I am actually learning something. This has helped a lot because during the pig dissection it was harder for me to at first but once I realized that the connections I make at the end of each chapter can be connected to anything that I was doing in class It go easier to become a better scientist.
