Ever since I was in 5th grade, i've wanted to be an engineer. A civil engineer. One of the most satisfying feelings for me is when I see something that I create or start come together and lock in place. Math is one of those things, and math and number sense is a very important part of being a civil engineer. Something that I have to do to reach my goal, is go to college, and the more accessible my higher education is, the better it is for my future. This also applies to my peers, which i'm sure most of them want to seek a higher education. I've had past experience with this topic and that only adds on the the fact of how passionate I am about this subject.
